Continuing the road trip, Keith Kinkaid and the New Jersey Devils will play the Kings in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
- New Jersey Devils (32-29-7, 71 pts)
- Los Angeles Kings (40-22-4, 84 pts)
- NHL, Saturday, March 12, 10:30 PM on FSW, MSG+
- Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
The New Jersey Devils have given up 40 goals in a 2-8-0 stretch and 18 in its previous four road games before visiting San Jose on Thursday.
Starting for the injured Cory Schneider, Keith Kinkaid allowed six goals in Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh in his first start since Schneider sprained his right knee.
Still, despite all of the doom and gloom, there is still hope.
Coming off an impressive 3-0 shutout victory two nights ago, Kinkaid and the Devils will play road team to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
With the playoffs seeming like a near impossibility at this point, pride will be the ultimate factor.
