The 2016 NBA All-Star starters have been announced and among the 10 players is New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony.
New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony will join Lebron James and Paul George in the East front-court in the 2016 NBA All-Star game.
This is the seventh year in a row Carmelo has been elected to an All-Star game, his ninth total. Melo received a total of 567,348 votes.
The starters were announced Thursday.

The East All-Stars starters are:
- GUARD: Dwyane Wade
- GUARD: Kyle Lowry
- FRONTCOURT: LeBron James
- FRONTCOURT: Paul George
- FRONTCOURT: Carmelo Anthony
The West All-Stars starters are:
- GUARD: Stephen Curry
- GUARD: Russell Westbrook
- FRONTCOURT: Kobe Bryant
- FRONTCOURT: Kevin Durant
- FRONTCOURT: Kawhi Leonard
Kobe Bryant headlined the NBA All-Stars, and received the most votes with 1.9 million votes.

The All-Star game is set to take place on February 14th in Toronto.
