Sell High

Indianapolis Colts Running Back Frank Gore

Frank Gore hasn’t really produced as much as fantasy experts predicted. Gore is averaging around nine points. He’s had a few big games here and there, but he lacks consistency.

To owners who have to rely on Gore’s production, the inconsistent play could get annoying. I particularly have the 11-year veteran as a Sell High option this week because he played a decent game against the Denver and their No. 1 ranked defense. As the clock hit double zero, Gore finished with a touchdown and 83 yards on a season high 23 carries. He also had one reception for 19 yards.

The Colts offense looked solid all game with new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski calling the shots. Maybe the Colts will rely on more of a run-heavy style offense? If that’s the case, Gore’s fantasy ceiling could be at this season’s all-time high. Gore owners should take advantage and shop him around.
