Another day, another first for Lias Andersson. The New York Rangers first round pick skated with Henrik Lundqvist for the first time.

As stated on his blog,  Henrik Lundqvist knows little about Lias Andersson, but he is looking forward to playing with him this training camp. Henrik said of Andersson, “It will be fun to see him at the camp, I think. The door is open, but I have seen him far too little to know.”

Could Not Have Happened to a Better Man

Officer Steven McDonald will have a stretch of the Southern State Parkway named in his honor. McDonald’s legacy has been well documented since his injury in 1986. He was a huge Rangers fan and this is a beautiful memory that, as Sam Rosen has said, will last a lifetime.

Captain Dad

Ryan McDonagh is enjoying his first summer as a dad. He has also had a very busy summer participating in the Da Beauty league, watching some Game Of Thrones and training for the upcoming season, as detailed by the New York Rangers Twitter account.
