The outdoor game’s postponement means Devils will play at 2:00 p.m.

The NHL has announced that the Honda NHL Outdoors game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins that was scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, has been pushed to 7:30 p.m.

The NHL opted to make this decision due to the weather forecast of sunlight with no cloud cover as well as uncharacteristically warm temperatures at Lake Tahoe.

The delay of this game has impacted the New Jersey Devils. The Devils will be visiting the Washington Capitals on Sunday and puck-drop was scheduled for 7 p.m. The game has now been moved to 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC.

This gives both the Devils and Capitals two day games on back-to-back days.

It should be a fun one.
