Episode No. 66 of the Wide Right Podcast will discuss the Super Bowl and a potential Deshaun Watson trade with ESNY’s Danny Small.

Super Bowl 55 has arrived. The highly anticipated matchup between the Chiefs and Buccaneers will occur this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, and to discuss the biggest sporting event of the year, the Wide Right Podcast has returned for episode 66.

Throughout the duration of the episode, we will talk to ESNY writer, editor, and podcaster Danny Small. We’ll discuss picks for the game (both outright and with the spread) and what it will take for either team to notch what would be the biggest victory of the year.

We’ll eventually get into some Deshaun Watson talk as well; a trade involving the superstar Texans quarterback could very much occur this offseason. Given Matthew Stafford went for a pair of first-rounders, a third-rounder, and Jared Goff, there’s a legitimate chance the Texans will request an absurd haul in return for their starting quarterback. If the Jets are involved, three first-round picks along with Sam Darnold may not even be enough to force the Texans to say yes.

The episode will also encompass a discussion surrounding free agency, the draft, and the overall offseason period for both the Jets and Giants, providing you with even more of a reason to tune in and listen.
