No game for the Islanders on Tuesday night.
On Tuesday morning the NHL announced the game between the Buffalo Sabres and the New York Islanders has been postponed.
Because of the weather, the Sabres’ travel plans had to be changed. Those changes impacted the league’s ability to perform mandatory COVID contract tracing and testing protocols on a game day.
The game will be rescheduled for a later date.
