Episode No. 13 of the Wide Right Podcast will recap the New York Giants’ loss to the Eagles as well as preview their upcoming matchup with Miami.

The 2019 NFL season keeps progressing and the New York Giants keep losing. With their most recent defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles, Big Blue has tied a franchise record with nine consecutive losses. Philly ousted them 23-17 in overtime on Monday night.

If you missed the game (or didn’t and just want to relive the hardship of having to witness it as a Giants fan), we have you covered. Episode No. 13 of the Wide Right Podcast will be recapping it for you as well as taking a deeper look at each team’s statistics. When you look at the numbers, the Giants were nowhere near competitive with the Eagles in some categories. This comes despite actually leading 17-3 at halftime.

Along with recapping the loss, we’ll discuss the recent report from ESPN’s Jordan Raanan regarding the futures of head coach Pat Shurmur and general manager Dave Gettleman.

It’s clear that Shurmur will most likely be fired at the end of the season or possibly even sooner. Gettleman is apparently in hot water as well, but he may have a better chance to stay on board than Shurmur does.

To conclude the episode, we’ll preview the Giants’ upcoming matchup with the 3-10 Miami Dolphins along with providing the keys to a New York victory. That game will kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.
