The New York Giants have started the game off with a bang after Antoine Bethea picks off Dak Prescott on the opening play.
What a start for the New York Giants in their Week 9 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
On the first play of the game, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw a pass over the middle…a pass that was picked off by safety Antoine Bethea. It’s Bethea’s first interception of the 2019 campaign and his first pick as a member of the Giants. Big Blue signed him this past offseason.

After a short return and a Giants drive that began within the red zone, New York couldn’t cross the plane. They ran three plays, including a shot to the end zone that fell incomplete. Thus, they came away with a field goal from Pro Bowl kicker Aldrick Rosas. The Giants went up 3-0 after either team had an offensive possession.
Big Blue is in their throwback white jerseys. They last played in these jerseys in a Week 6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last year. New York desperately needs a win over the Cowboys on Monday night to avoid falling deeper into the hole they’ve already dug themselves. At 2-6, it’s shaping up to be another lost season for this organization.
The Giants are entering the game having lost their previous four consecutive matchups. They suffered defeats at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions. New York sits in third place in the NFC East division at the moment.
