Saquon Barkley is stepping up to help a young New York Giants fan who was snubbed the Dallas Cowboys’ DeMarcus Lawrence.

Here comes Saquon Barkley to the rescue. An interaction between a young New York Giants fan and DeMarcus Lawrence recently went viral with the Cowboy snubbing his autograph request.

When the young fan approached Lawrence, the defensive lineman told him to “get the right jersey.”

Barkley is giving tickets to that young fan according to TMZ. The superstar running back is flying out Kamil Bautista and his family for the team’s Nov. 10 game against the New York Jets. This is a classy move by Barkley.

The superstar back always seems to be giving back to the fans on and off the field. He’s quickly becoming one of the most beloved athletes in New York.

The dual-threat running back was one of the few productive Giants on Sunday. He put up 139 yards on 15 touches, but failed to reach the end zone in the 35-17 loss. The Cowboys lit up the Giants from start to finish in the disappointing loss.

The Giants and Barkley will look to rebound from that opening week loss against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Bills are coming off a win in MetLife against the Jets in Week 1.

Expect the Giants to go to Barkley early and often. The wide receiving corps has suffered numerous injuries this week and quarterback Eli Manning‘s options will be limited. Upping Barkley’s workload by finding creative ways to get him the ball should be at the top of the gameplan.
