The NHL world is about to get a taste of the rebuilt New York Rangers as 13 games will be covered by NBC/NBCSN Sports this season.

NBC Sports announced its national schedule on Tuesday morning.

Artemi Panarin, Kaapo Kakko, and Henrik Lundqvist along with a rebuilt New York Rangers squad will appear on NBC Sports 13 times throughout the 2019-20 season.

The Rangers kick off their part of the NBC schedule with a contest on Oct. 17 at New Jersey. This will be the first time the hockey world sees the top two picks from the draft square off. Kakko was taken No. 2 overall after the New Jersey Devils drafted Jack Hughes.

Unfortunately, the schedule showcases the same teams, mainly within the Metropolitan Division, as it has over the past few years. The schedule includes three contests against the Philadelphia Flyers, two against the Pittsburgh Penguins, one against the Washington Capitals, and one against Kevin Shattenkirk’s new team, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
