The New York Mets are ready to take the field once again. Pitchers and catchers are set to officially hit the field on Feb. 14 with full team workouts beginning on Feb. 18. The team will play its first game of spring training on Feb. 23 against the Atlanta Braves at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie.

The Mets announced its spring training television schedule that will bring 14 games to the fans.

SNY will televise 10 games with WPIX showing three games on its network. All of the televised games will be from the Mets’ home field in Port St. Lucie with a start time of 1:10 p.m. ET. The only exception will come on Sunday, March 24 which will have a start time of 12:10 p.m. ET.

Following their opening game against the Braves, the team has some quality games to play as they get ready for Opening Day against the Washington Nationals.

On Sunday, Feb. 24 they host the Houston Astros (WPIX), they play the defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox in a split-squad game on Monday, March 4 (SNY). Three of their last five games at Port St. Lucie will be against the Washington Nationals including their final home contest on Sunday, March 24 (SNY).

The New York Mets will then travel to Baltimore for a road game before they start the regular season.

The Mets will begin the 2019-2020 season on March 28 against the Washington Nationals in a three-game series. The Mets home opener will be on April 4 against the same Washington Nationals team.

The teams will know a lot about one another by the time the Mets host Opening Day at CitiField.
