Nobody puts baby in the corner, but the Carolina Panthers did exactly that to the New York Giants on Twitter.

The Panthers, victors in a 33-31 shootout against the Giants on Sunday, went Dirty Dancing in one final virtual blow to New York in a Monday social media post.

The showcased an animated photo of quarterback Cam Newton and running back Christian McCaffrey, the two engaged in the iconic pose from the climax of the 1987 film.

The pose has been parodied in numerous forms of media. The Giants themselves partook in one such satire in an NFL commercial that first aired during the most recent Super Bowl in February.

In the ad, the Giants’ renowned offensive duo of Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. fill the roles first made famous by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

Their offensive linemen serve as backup dancers. The ad was filmed at Quest Diagnostics Training Center, the Giants’ practice facility.

Sunday’s game provided more drama than any Swayze film ever could. The showdown featured 782 combined yards of offense, an Odell Beckham Jr. touchdown pass, and a triumph earned with the longest “walk-off” field goal in NFL history.

The win moved the Panthers to a 3-1 mark, while the Giants fell to 1-4.

The Giants don’t have much time to work on their dance moves for their next game. They’ll partake in the weekly Thursday night contest, welcoming in the Philadelphia Eagles to MetLife Stadium (8:20 p.m. ET, Fox/NFL Network/Amazon Prime).
