New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. confirms what he’s said previously. He plans to attend training camp, squashing any holdout speculation.

Odell Beckham Jr. has received many labels throughout his NFL career. A man of his word has to be one of them.

NFL Network’s Kim Jones killed any speculation remaining about Beckham’s status for the opening of New York Giants training camp this week, as she confirmed with the receiver that he would indeed be reporting to Quest Diagnostics Training Center with other Giants veterans on Wednesday.

Jones’ confirmation came shortly after a Beckham post on Instagram bidding farewell to Los Angeles, where had spent a good part of the offseason training with teammates and competitors alike.

Beckham has not spoken in a podium setting since his season-ending ankle injury suffered last October in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. During June minicamp, however, he remarked in passing to gathered press he would indeed be on hand for training camp.

This squashed any speculation that he would hold out for a long-term contract. He is entering the final year of his initial NFL contract, a four-year deal worth just over $10 million after being selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 draft. The Giants, as expected, picked up his fifth year option last offseason.

The Giants will host their first team practice on Thursday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. Beckham will undoubtedly be on the field. Giants fans everywhere are breathing a huge sigh of relief after hearing the good news concerning Beckham.
