Multiple reports are suggesting that Kevin Knox is the favorite to go to the New York Knicks with the No. 9 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 2018 NBA Draft is hours away so the rumor mill has kicked into high gear. Multiple reports are suggesting that the New York Knicks have zeroed in on Kentucky’s Kevin Knox to be their selection with the ninth pick.

So much for Villanova’s Mikal Bridges being the favorite of the organization (via The New York Post) ahead of injury-prone Michael Porter Jr. That was yesterday’s news. It’s draft day and The Ringer‘s Kevin O’Connor is reporting that New York’s interest in Bridges isn’t nearly as high as has been previously reported. O’Connor says we should expect the Knicks to take Knox. But he’s not the only draft expert on the Knox-to-New York bandwagon.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony says that “all signs point to Knox at 9” for the Knicks. Per Givony, the assumption around league circles is the 18-year-old is the top option available for New York at their pick.

Knox has shot up draft boards after an up-and-down freshman season with the Wildcats. ESPN and the Ringer both have him going to New York at 9 while he was considered a late lottery selection for a majority of the process.
