New York Giants defensive tackle Damon Harrison pulls a “sike” on his entire fandom with a fake (sort of) message that he’d been cut by the Jints.
Sike. Or psych (if you’re one of those proper individuals).
It was the famous and trendy word of the early 1990s, demonstrated as such by Will Smith on his sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The goal was to say something or lead somebody down the path of fiction only to blurt out that code word of “sike” at just the right moment, allowing everybody a deep breath of sanity.
On Wednesday night, New York Giants defensive lineman Damon Harrison said “sike.”
The legend of Snacks continues to grow as, on this particular night, made an entire fanbase go nutty over one tweet that made it seem like he had been cut by new general manager Dave Gettleman.
Wow. It’s been real…nobody is safe I guess

Once hearts were firmly thrust into throats, Snacks clarified just seven minutes later.
New seasons of walking dead and season 4 of breaking bad is terrible. No longer going to watch. Cable TV has won me over. Love & hip hop from here on out ???♂️ https://t.co/nWFMlPa3Oj

As impossible as it may seem—one of the best interior defensive linemen finding himself cut at this time of the offseason—stranger things have happened.
Sike, troll, punk or the proper “psych,” call it what you want. Damon “Snacks” Harrison is the best in the business. In fact, come to think about it, he’s now encroaching on Noah Syndergaard legend as it pertains to Twitter.
We’ll honestly never know if he set this one up on a boring, mischevious night with little to do or not, but it turned out as perfect as it could be in this brave new social media world.
Yes. Damon Harrison is still employed by the New York Giants. That is, until, he sikes us out again.
