The rivalry between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets just got weird as Giancarlo Stanton and AJ Ramos want to live together.

Yankee Stadium has been called the “House that George built,” but now that house is divided. New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton could end up living with AJ Ramos of the New York Mets.

According to the Associated Press (via ESPN), Stanton and Ramo—former teammates with the Miami Marlins—are looking into living together since they both are in New York now. Stanton and Ramos living together would be convenient and make sense since they are close friends.

“We are still looking at places and we might live together,” Ramos said, per Mike Puma of the New York Post. “Definitely for the Subway Series I am going to be setting some traps for him, I may mess up his sleep a little bit.”

The Mets reliever was asked how he would split the grocery bill with a roommate who has a $325 million contract.

“Oh, he buys it all. For sure,” he said, per the AP. “I’m just playin’. Nah, it’s good times, man.”

Ramos added, “The only time it would be different would be when we are playing against each other. Other than that, it’s just Giancarlo and I’m AJ. It’s not Yankee-Met or anything like that. That’s just the way we go about things now.”

Ramos, who was drafted by the Marlins in 2009, was traded to the Mets last July. Last year he had 27 saves and 72 strikeouts with a 3.99 ERA. He had a 4.74 ERA with the Mets.

Stanton was acquired by the Yankees in a trade with the Marlins in December. He hit .281 with 59 home runs and 132 RBIs last year and was named the National League MVP.

The question now is not where Stanton and Ramos would live, but what kind of traps would Ramos set up for Stanton?
