The New York Rangers played three games this past week, all which told a different story of a hockey team on one serious winning roll.
Last week’s results:
The New York Rangers dominated the game against Carolina and won their third road game of the year. Friday night’s victory at home against the Red Wings was a goaltending duel. The Rangers pulled that game out after trailing 1-0 as they headed into the third, winning 2-1 in overtime on a Mats Zuccarello goal. The game on Sunday was a sloppy one which had plenty of turnovers, but the Rangers showed their resilience as the team, winning 4-3 in the shootout over the Vancouver Canucks in Manhattan.
The Rangers are now 10-2 in last 12 games and 8-0 in last eight at MSG.
Oh, Baby!

It’s A Power Play Goal
The Rangers were one out of nine with the man advantage last week.
Who’s Hot?

No discussion here. Henrik Lundqvist is on fire right now. As he entered the game against Vancouver, his 12th start in a row, his numbers have been outstanding.
Over his 11 consecutive starts (since Oct. 31 vs. Vegas), Lundqvist has posted a 9-2-0 record, along with a 2.23 GAA, a .932 SV%, and 1 SO, and he leads the NHL in wins over the span.

Who’s Not?
Center David Desharnais has been in the hot seat. He has only registered one assist in the last five games he has played in. Desharnais was only in the lineup on Sunday because Boo Nieves is out with an injury.
Injuries
Ryan McDonagh has missed three games with an abdominal injury.
