New York Knicks‘ Kristaps Porzingis unveils his Adidas sneakers that should provide fans and Kevin Durant a few laughs.
New York Knicks superstar forward Kristaps Porzingis showed off his new player exclusive Adidas Crazy Explosive sneakers and the design of the sole sent social media into a frenzy.
This seem’s to be the start of a hard pushed Kristaps Porzingis campaign for Adidas.
The nickname the “unicorn” that Kevin Durant awarded Porzingis due to his overall unique nature as a player, has taken another step forward.
Adidas has now included an artistic unicorn in the sole of Porzingis’ shoe. While it is a bit disappointing this shoe is strictly for the use of KP himself and isn’t available for sale.

Porzingis is starting to be recognized as a superstar in the NBA; it wouldn’t be a surprise if KP is awarded his signature shoe for sale soon, especially if he continues to play at his current level.
KP is fourth in the league in points per game and first in blocks. The hype surrounding him is growing and in New York, if he establishes himself as a star, he will be praised.
Being worshiped in New York leads to opportunities in both business and fashion. The sales for a Kristaps Porzingis signature shoe would likely do well under those circumstances.
Adidas looks to be attempting to take advantage of their New York star, and it shouldn’t be long before the “Adidas Unicorn 1’s” is released to stores everywhere.
With KP back in the lineup after missing the last game due to injury, his Knicks are trailing the Portland Trail Blazers 53-37 at Madison Square Garden. Enes Kanter is out yet again with back spasms, his third straight out of action. Porzingis leads the Knicks at halftime with 14 points on a poor 4-of-12 from the floor.
