The New York Rangers started putting some wins together as they went 3-0 last week. Today, we recap the best Blueshirts week of the season.

Last Weeks Results

10/31/17 vs Las Vegas         W 6-4,         Boxscore

11/2/17 @ Tampa Bay          W 2-1 (OT),  Boxscore

11/4/17 @ Florida                W 5-4 (OT) , Boxscore

The New York Rangers started the week off with a come-from-behind win as they defeated the hot Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night. They took that momentum into Tampa Bay, where they played a hard-nosed game and came up with a one-goal win, 2-1 in overtime. They concluded the Sunshine State road trip at the Florida Panthers with a 5-4 OT win.

Oh, Baby!

Time for some highlights.

The week started off on Halloween night where the Rangers had a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack in NYC earlier in the day.

Mika Zibanejad scored the power play game-winner for the Rangers in their win over Las Vegas.

With the win, number 408, Henrik Lundqvist passes Glenn Hall for sole possession of ninth place on the NHL’s all-time win list.

On to Tampa Bay to play the Lightning.

Chris Kreider scores off of the nifty tic-tac-toe pass to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead to close out the first period.

J.T. Miller with the overtime winner as the Rangers defeated Tampa Bay 2-1.

The Ranger head down to Sunrise, Florida for a game against the Panthers.

Nick Holden scores in the first period in Saturday’s game against the Panthers.

Kevin Shattenkirk scores the game-winning overtime goal to beat Tampa 5-4.

It’s A Power Play Goal

The Rangers scored three power play goals in 10 chances last week. The team is currently ranked 10th in the National Hockey League.

Who’s Hot

Kevin Shattenkirk is playing like the player he is known for. Shattenkirk scored the OT winner to give the Rangers a 5-4 win. He has scored two goals and recorded four assists in his last four games (the Rangers are 3-1 in those games).

Who’s Not

Jimmy Vesey, who has one goal in his last five games. He also is even or minus in the past five games. He just seems to be a step behind, but don’t count him out as he is a strong player who will skate himself back on to the score sheet.

Fines

Kevin Hayes was fined $5,000 for squirting water at Tampa Bay’s Alex Killorn. Take a look at the bizarre play.

Upcoming Games

11/6/17   vs.  Columbus Blue Jackets

11/8/17   vs   Boston
