The New York Rangers bring their two-game winning streak to the BB&T Arena to battle the Florida Panthers.

The New York Rangers are coming off their best game of the season as they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in overtime on J.T. Miller’s third goal of the season. Henrik Lundqvist recorded the win for his fourth of the season.

Mika Zibanejad already has eight goals and six assists for 14 points this year, leading the team in goals and points. Zibanejad has recorded at least one point in the past five games. Kevin Shattenkirk leads the team with nine assists.

The Florida Panthers were defeated by the Columbus Blue Jackets at home on Thursday by a score of 7-3. James Reimer (3-4-1) took the loss in goal. Evgeni Dadonov and Jonathan Huberdeau are tied for the team lead in points with 14. Dadonov leads the team in goals scored with six.

While this matchup is important early on in the season, the two teams will meet again Nov. 28 at MSG and Feb. 10 at Florida.
