Everybody’s favorite grinder, Jesper Fast, will make a return to the New York Ranger lineup on Saturday night against the New Jersey Devils, hopefully just in a nick of time for the flailing Blueshirts.

Bottom six fixture Jesper Fast will make his return to the lineup for the New York Rangers on Saturday night as they square off with the New Jersey Devils.

Fast, who has been sidelined with from surgery over the offseason has yet to appear in a game this year. Originally thought to be out until late October, Fast brings an incredible amount of grit and consistency to the lineup, something the Rangers have been severely lacking in.

It’s still unclear who Fast will be replacing, but at this point, nobody really cares too much. Just having the professional in the lineup is an added bonus. He’ll be a massive boost to any line he plays on and to the penalty kill.
