On the biggest day of 2017 in the Yankee Universe, the Judge’s Chambers will play host to the most deserving of demographics.

If you could be anywhere on the planet tonight at 8:00 PM, it’s a pretty safe bet that a resounding majority of you would say Yankee Stadium. And if you are one of the fortunate who will actually be in attendance tonight and had your choice (outside of luxury box territory) to sit and watch history unfold, I again imagine the overwhelming retort to the question would be “The Judge’s Chambers.”

For a group of hard-working students in the backyard of the House That Jeter Built, Tuesday night is where dreams become reality.

The New York Yankees released a video from their Twitter account that reveals just who the deserving ticket-holders are.

The absolute best part about this whole thing is the pleasant reminder of the Yankee mantra, “Work hard every single day.” These students have excelled both in and out of the classroom with hard work and dedication. Because of that, they were justly rewarded by a franchise that is the class of the industry when it comes to rewarding those that put in the work.

When the biggest organization in sports takes time to recognize even the smallest of contributors, the result is pure class.

After losing my eyesight as a result of a brain tumor in 1996, baseball and music ushered me back to reality and led me to who I am today. I turned my love of the game and for my New York Yankees into writing for the best company in sports: Elite Sports NY. i use my Psychology & Music degree from James Madison University to articulate my thoughts in my writing and use my vocal/piano skills to professionally play music in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
