On this edition of the New York Rangers Blueshirt Beat, Lias Andersson shows off his skills by scoring twice during world competition.

The New York Rangers organization has to be happy with what they have seen from Andersson so far this summer. He has scored two goals and one assist for Team Sweden at the World Junior Summer Showcase. During today’s game, Andersson wore the Captain’s “C “on his sweater, a proud honor for him.

Here is a clip of Andersson scoring his goals yesterday as he played against fellow Ranger prospect Tom Gettinger:

Ranger winger Chris Kreider seemed to be enjoying himself at JR Rangers camp. He added a helper as one camper scored and they celebrated behind the net

Last night, The Da Beauty tournament continued and Ranger Captain Ryan Mcdonagh was saluted by the league.

Hopefully, Rangers fans will salute him with more ferocity this coming season.
