The New York Rangers could probably sign Jaromir Jagr to a reasonable deal and it would instantly improve their power play.
Now that the Rangers have settled all contract issues, it’s time to focus on other things that can improve their lineup. Sean Hartnett, a writer for NewYork.CBSLocal.com, put a story up about how this could benefit both sides. He would definitely add a jump to the fan base and he would be a valuable player that could fit in on the third or fourth line. He would improve the power play instantly which is a priority for the upcoming season.

Jimmy Vesey and Kevin Hayes are working out near their hometowns
As training camp approaches, players are continuing their offseason workouts. Two Ranger players who are doing just that are Jimmy Vesey and Kevin Hayes. The sophomore and three-year veteran, respectively, were followed by television cameras recently to show the fans what they are doing to get ready for the season opener.

Ranger prospects Lias Andersson and Filip Chytil are having a good week
Rangers first round draft pick Lias Andersson has made the Sweden World Junior Summer team. Andersson will play on this team now and then participate in Rangers training camp in September.
