No More Blonde: New York Mets’ Yoenis Cespedes Makes Hair Blue (Photo)

New York Mets left fielder Yoenis Cespedes has had quite the week when it comes to making changes. After the Cuban slugger changed his walkup song from “Circle of Life” from The Lion King to “Quiêreme” by Jacob Forever earlier this week, he decided to dye his hair blue before Wednesday’s tilt against the Cardinals.

A few hours before the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals squared off at Citi Field, New York’s Twitter account posted a photo of outfielder Yoenis Cespedes rocking freshly dyed blue hair (above).

Cespedes is probably the only person in New York that can rock blue hair.

Perhaps Cespedes changed the color of his hair today in an attempt to copy opposing Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez, who also dyed his hair blue before a game against the Mets on Jul. 7.

The Mets have lost three straight, two of which have been against St. Louis. Hopefully, Cespedes’ latest antics can help New York get back on track.
