The 28-year-old New Rochelle, New York native has been rumored to end up on Broadway for several years now. Many praised Gorton’s ability to pass up on the all-star defenseman at the NHL trade deadline this past season thanks to knowing his summer availability.
Still, the question remains whether it’s prudent or not to shell out the big bucks for the man.
