New York Giants wide receiver Roger Lewis got in a whole lot of trouble as he was arrested for OVI over the weekend.

New York Giants receiver Roger Lewis was arrested Sunday morning for operating a vehicle while impaired.

According to TMZ, Lewis was pulled over in Reynoldsburg, Ohio for speeding and tinted windows. The cops smelled weed and noticed signs of intoxication when they pulled him over.

The receiver refused to take a breathalyzer test when asked to. The police also found “unknown liquid” in the receiver’s car and sent it to a lab. More charges will be filed if the unknown liquid is an illegal substance.

The Giants receiver was charged with OVI but was released to a sober friend on his own recognizance.

“We’re aware of the situation,” the Giants said in a statement.

Big Blue signed the receiver last year as an undrafted free agent. He had seven catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie year. Lewis was one of the players that was part of the Giants’ infamous Miami boat trip.

Lewis could be fined and/or suspended by the NFL. IF he is fined then the question, is how high will the fine be?
