Literally.
Class A Tampa game rained out. So Tyler Austin's highly-anticipated rehab debut will have to wait.

With no proper timetable for the return of Greg Bird and the struggles currently surrounding the first base position, Austin has a shot to make his presence known in the Bronx.
That will have to wait. Austin was supposed to be batting third and acting as the designated hitter for the Tampa Yankees.
The Tampa Yankees are slated for a doubleheader tomorrow, where Austin will officially begin his rehab assignment. Not a moment too soon.
While Joe Girardi didn’t manage the game due to attending his daughter’s high school graduation, he did make the news for yesterday.
Yanks' Joe Girardi will have say on MLB competition committee https://t.co/EOAMBOWWCd
— Pete Caldera (@pcaldera) May 19, 2017
According to various sources, Girardi was selected as one of 16 people to join the new and improved Competition Committee. The committee will be focused on finding ways to improve the game… Which includes, yes, the pace of play.
Girardi is one of four managers on the committee, alongside Buck Showalter, Mike Matheny and Dave Roberts.
And his prized prospects are also doing big things down on the farm. Gleyber Torres had himself another big night…well, this one was just “grand.”
Gleyber Torres. Bang. Grand Slam. #GleyberMania #Yankees

Yup, GleyberMania is alive and well in Trenton AND the Bronx. Oh, the excitement surrounding this kid is simply incredible.
After being benched for not hustling, I guarantee you he just apologized in the biggest way possible.
