Just 13:24 into Game 3 at Madison Square Garden, Mats Zuccarello and Michael Grabner put the New York Rangers up 2-0 over the Senators.
You think the New York Rangers were ready to play this one?
So far, so good.
Just 13:24 into the first period of Game 3 of the second-round matchup against the Ottawa Senators, the Blueshirts went ahead 2-0 at Madison Square Garden.
First, Mats Zuccarello buried one courtesy of a Mika Zibanejad helper from behind the net. Sens goaltender Craig Anderson was clearly overplaying the pass on the play.

Then, a little under eight minutes later with New York thoroughly outplaying Ottawa from end-to-end, Michael Grabner took advantage of an Anderson miscue.
The score remains 2-0 after one period of play in Manhattan.
