New York Islanders’ Anders Lee Ties Game Against Rangers With Slick Feed (Video)

After allowing the go-ahead goal, Anders Lee capitalizes on a rush from Anthony Beauvillier and Nick Leddy.

Mats Zuccarello had taken the lead on the power play breaking the ice early on in the second period for the New York Rangers.

The Islanders are currently off to a very poor start. Plenty of turnovers, penalties and miscues to go around for the New York Islanders facing their rivals in Madison Square Garden. Fortunately, Anders Lee had an answer to tie the game.

Anthony Beauvillier took a Nick Leddy feed and dished it right to Lee who did not make a mistake on the shot. It beat Raanta blocker side, and the game was tied 1-1.

The Rangers currently lead the Islanders 2-1 after two periods on NBCSN as part of Wednesday Night Rivalry.

Rick Nash broke the tie in the second period here on a goal beating Thomas Hickey and Thomas Greiss.
