The New York Rangers are slowly coming back together as Henrik Lundqvist is back practicing and updates on Girardi and Klein have surfaced.
This morning, a sight for sore eyes was presented to many via social media. Henrik Lundqvist was back at New York Rangers practice (photo above).
The Rangers starting goaltender and franchise player has missed the last five games with a hip injury that was expected to sideline him two-to-three weeks. The Blueshirts went 2-2-1 over those five games.
Henrik Lundqvist will be on the ice today for practice with #NYR today along with Girardi and Klein. McDonagh (maintenance) is not skating.

Captain Ryan McDonagh didn’t skate as he relaxed via a maintenance day.
Dan Girardi and Kevin Klein, speaking about more injury-riddled Rangers, were also back on the ice with Lundqvist. In fact, each has been cleared to play. It’s just a matter of getting each back to full game shape.
AV says both Klein and Girardi have been cleared medically, and it's just a matter of them getting "up to speed" to rejoin the lineup. #NYR

Locked into that coveted No. 1 wild card spot in the east, the Rangers will take on the hated New Jersey Devils in Newark on Tuesday night.
