New York Knicks‘ Joakim Noah will miss his fifth straight game on Wednesday. Willy Hernangomez will start in his place.

New York Knicks (23-33) center Joakim Noah (hamstring) will miss his fifth straight game on Wednesday night on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Willy Hernangomez will get his third start of the season in the last game before the All-Star break.

Hernangomez got the call on Sunday against San Antonio and played well in New York’s biggest win of the season. The Knicks hope the momentum of that win can carry over into a game against a tough Oklahoma City team.

Led by MVP favorite Russell Westbrook, the Thunder have one of the best homecourt advantages in the NBA with a record of 19-8. They dominated the Knicks on the glass in their victory at Madison Square Garden back in Nov., and without Noah, the odds will be even more stacked against New York.
