Phil Jackson is making the Knicks a less than desirable destination for free agents

Through his obnoxious Twitter habits and planned out media words, Phil Jackson is making the New York Knicks a terrible landing spot for FAs.

I Never thought I would see the day that someone would take over the New York Knicks and ruin them worse than Isaiah Thomas did.

Somehow Phil Jackson has accomplished this feat. Jackson has a lower winning percentage since taking over the Knicks than Thomas had.

Of course, Jackson isn’t the only one ruining the Knicks. James Dolan, who is the worst owner in sports, is helping to destroy the Knicks as well.

He helps add to the circus that surrounds the New York Knicks. A perfect case in point comes when thinking of the incident with Charles Oakley on Wednesday night.

What could go wrong does go wrong for them. And with the dark cloud that constantly hangs over the franchise, there is no hope as long as Jackson is in charge.

The Knicks plan the last few years is to clear cap space to land top-tier free agents, but it doesn’t matter how much money you can offer a player. Nobody will want to play for a dysfunctional organization.

Players are aware of the way Jackson has treated his star player Carmelo Anthony. The random sub-tweets that constantly throw cheap shots at Melo.

Jackson is the guy that would be trying to recruit free agents to come to New York. His actions, however, are certainly rubbing people the wrong way. Which will make it easy to pass on the New York Knicks come free agency.

Which superstar would want to play for the Knicks if the team president does nothing but criticizes them?

Some of the big names that are expected to hit free agency include Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant. Several other star players will be available as well.

With Jackson failing as the team president, it’s hard to imagine any of these players inking a deal with the Knicks.

It’s no question the New York Knicks desperately need to cash in on landing a superstar to team up with Kristaps Porzingis and Anthony.

There was a time that Jackson was one of the most highly respected figures in the game. But the Zen Master unorthodox ways does not work with the players of today.

With management in such a mess led by Jackson and Dolan coupled by constant losing, New York is not a desirable place for top-tier free agents.

It’s a shame, New York has a lot to offer players. It’s a passionate fan base that will embrace you. They play in the world’s most famous arena.

But the clowns that run the organization will prevent the New York Knicks from ever having success.

Fresh new faces are a must inside the Knicks management positions. Jackson has done nothing but cause damage from the moment he took over.

If the Knicks fire Jackson, maybe free agents will be more willing to play for the Knicks.
