John Tortorella’s crew is sizzling. Coming into Saturday night’s game against the New York Islanders, the Columbus Blue Jackets won five straight games.

As they leave Nationwide Arena the very same night, they now find themselves winners of six straight. Thanks to four third period goals, the Jackets buried the Isles by the final score of 6-2 in Ohio.

The six goals were scored by six different players. Jack Johnson tallied his first of the season on the power-play, coming in the first period to tie the game up at one. Cam Atkinson, Josh Anderson, Brandon Saad, and Seth Jones also find their names on the scoreboard in this one.

For the Isles, John Tavares picked up his ninth of the season in the second period while Josh Bailey opened the scoring for both teams with an unassisted goal just 5:59 into the game.

The Isles will take the next two days off prior to welcoming in Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals to Brooklyn on Tuesday night.
