New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony Can’t Handle The Inbounds Whistle (Video)

New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony simply can’t handle the inbounds whistle. Watch him thrive in pain as he drops the ball.

For those who’ve played basketball, you know the deal here.

These refs don’t take it easy on the whistle. Even when you’re standing right aside them, just moments prior to the inbounds, the official will whistle your freaking ear off.

That’s what happened to New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

Check out the video above. Melo immediately drops the ball and winces due to the whistle getting to those sensitive ears of his. It’s a good thing the ref didn’t call a violation on the play.

As far as the game is concerned, the Knicks, who led by as many as 18 points, take a 57-49 point lead over the Memphis Grizzlies into halftime. This is the Knicks 2016-17 NBA home opener. Kristaps Porzingis leads all scorers with 14 points.
