Top New York Islanders prospect Josh Ho-Sang scored his first professional goal on Saturday night.
Josh Ho-Sang is one of the most scrutinized prospects in hockey.
He’s also one of the best.
Ho-Sang, 20, confidently declared that he’d eventually become the best player in the 2014 Draft. He notably showed up late for Training Camp in 2015. All of his other miscues have been well-documented by the media.
But the highly-touted prospect had an impressive showing in camp, when he tallied four points and eight shots in five contests. So far, he’s notched six points (one goal, five assists) in six games, with his first goal coming on Saturday night.
Here’s a video of Ho-Sang’s snipe from the right circle:

Fans have clamored for Ho-Sang’s arrival, especially since the big league club has struggled out-of-the-gate. With Mathew Barzal‘s departure inevitable, it could be a matter of when — not if.
