Giants’ Landon Collins Vies For Interception Return Of The Year (Video)

New York Giants safety Landon Collins returned a Case Keenum pass for a touchdown, breaking a thousand tackles in the process.

The New York Giants began their game against the Los Angeles Rams looking like jet lag had affected their play. Needing a spark, second-year safety Landon Collins came up clutch.

This interception return is probably going to be the best return you’ll see all season. He broke tackles from approximately half of the Rams’ offense while getting a little push from his teammates to cross the goal line.

Collins has been one of New York’s bright young talents thus far, and this pick six should help his campaign towards his first pro bowl. After seeing Collins drop numerous interceptions in past games, this could help his confidence moving forward.

Although Tavon Austin essentially gifted Collins the interception, it shouldn’t take away from the exceptional return. Dearly needing some kind of spark, Collins delivered an Ed Reed kind of return for a score.
