A 2015 third-round pick, the 19-year-old had a breakout year in the WHL last year. In 64 games, he put up eight goals, 17 assists, 25 points, and a plus-15 rating, all amounting to career highs.
[sc name=”Rangers Center” ]Coming in at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, the young Russian has shown solid development through his years in the minors and has a bright future ahead of him. He has great positioning and a cannon of a shot from the point, but needs to develop speed to make it to the big leagues. He certainly won’t see much time this year considering the Rangers already have nine defensemen, so don’t expect any production from him.
