The New York Rangers continued their depth signings today, as they have come to terms with Dylan McIlrath, Josh Jooris, and Tommy Hughes.

The New York Rangers and Jeff Gorton have resumed their off-season signings today with three more signings.

Dylan McIlrath fans everywhere, rejoice.

McIlrath is the second RFA to avoid arbitration following the signing of J.T. Miller on Wednesday. The one-year deal is worth $800,000.

For McIlrath, this deal is yet another try-out of sorts. The enforcer will need to prove that he can be an effective defender night in and night out for the Blueshirts.

At least we’ll be treated to more of this.

Josh Jooris is another depth signing that could fill in holes, especially with Oscar Lindberg out for the first couple months of the season.

The Rangers also came to terms with Tommy Hughes, who will most likely be an AHL journeyman.

I've been a die hard Rangers and Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I enjoy sharing opinions, and hearing from fans that love their teams just as much as I do. Henrik Lundqvist makes all of us look like mere mortals. E-mail me at: Chris.Wengert@elitesportsny.com
