Coming off a loss, the New York Mets will turn to Thor, otherwise known as Noah Syndergaard, to take on the Padres in San Diego.
- New York Mets (17-10)
- San Diego Padres (12-17)
- NL, Today, 10:40 PM on FSSD, SNY
- Petco Park, San Diego, California
After starting the season on fire, Noah Syndergaard has dipped a bit. Over his last two starts, the man they call Thor has surrendered seven runs in 12.1 innings. This, after posting a superb 0.90 ERA through his first three outings.
“It was just kind of a disappointing start,” Syndergaard said. “My last two starts, I haven’t felt very comfortable on the mound,” via Associated Press.
He’ll take the ball from manager Terry Collins on a night the New York Mets look to avenge their 5-2 loss to the same San Diego Padres.
The Padres will send out lefty Drew Pomeranz, who is off to a pretty solid start to the 2016 campaign (2-3, 2.48 ERA).
Get the coffee ready as first pitch will come your way on the east coast at 10:40 PM ET.
