New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard truly took his nickname of Thor to the next level on Wednesday.
Listen…if you’re famously dubbed the nickname of a superhero, you must not only graciously accept the nickname, but take action as well.
New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard understands this philosophy.
Dubbed the nickname “Thor,” Syndergaard could, perhaps, have the most powerful superhero nickname in all of baseball. Matt Harvey rose with The Dark Knight, following Tommy John surgery, but let’s be honest: Batman has no real superpowers.
Thor, on the other hand, can only be rivaled by Superman. That’s how powerful he truly is.
So, naturally, Syndergaard took the superhero name to the streets of New York City on Wednesday.
In an appearance for what appears to be an upcoming feature for the Mets home of SNY, Syndergaard hit the streets of New York City dressed up in a Thor costume.
