The Stanley Cup Playoff bound New York Rangers return to Madison Square Garden and welcome in the East champs, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
- New York Rangers (44-26-9)
- Tampa Bay Lightning (45-29-5)
- NHL, Today, 7:30 PM on NBCS, TVA, MSG, Full Preview
- Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
Tonight, at Madison Square Garden, the roles will be reversed.
Monday night, the New York Rangers made sure the third time was a charm in effort to clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They did so by knocking off the Blue Jackets in Columbus, 4-2.
It’ll be the defending Eastern Conference champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning, who’ll be looking to clinch their playoff berth in New York City on Tuesday night.
As far as dealing with the Ryan McDonagh injury is concerned, Alain Vigneault will, indeed, insert youngster Brady Skjei into the lineup. He was called up this morning.
What’s interesting though, is now it’s been reported that both Dan Boyle and Kevin Hayes are out, and Dylan McIlrath and Oscar Lindberg are in.
#NYR head coach Alain Vigneault says Dan Boyle is out tonight and Dylan McIlrath is in. Kevin Hayes comes out, Oscar Lindberg is in.
