New York Mets’ Yoenis Cespedes Went How Fast In His Lamborghini?

Triple digits are nothing for New York Mets’ Yoenis Cespedes, and we’re not talking about hitting fastballs. Wanna guess how fast his Lamborghini can go?

Yoenis Cespedes drives his Lamborghini like, well, a Lamborghini.

He told ESPN Deportes reporter Marly Rivera in Spanish that he once reached 240 mph in his Italian supercar. Cespedes stated, “I did it once but won’t do it again. It can faster but I got scared at 240 mph.”

Oh, Yo got scared at only 240 mph? Alright then.

He claimed his mother is afraid to ride with him and often chooses to ride in a separate car if they are with a group of people. Hard to blame mama Cespedes there.

Where in the United States can one travel 240 mph? Last time I checked, the Autobahn was still in Germany. Leave it to the New York Mets stud to find a way.

I’d love to know how Sandy Alderson feels about his $75 million dollar investment whipping a supercar down a highway going well over 200 mph? Any guesses?

The legend of Cespedes grows.
