At this point for the New York Islanders, something’s gotta give.

Just two weeks ago they were flying high. As high as second place of the Metropolitan Division (overtaking the hated New York Rangers).

Suddenly, they find themselves losers of four straight and six of their last seven games.

Tonight they’ll host the Ottawa Senators in a game that’ll see the backup to the backup, Jean-François Bérubé, starting in place of the current starter Thomas Greiss.

The Isles are currently l looking up at both the Rangers (five points behind with two games in hand), and the surging Pittsburgh Penguins (three points behind with one game in hand).
