A New York Islanders superfan with the pseudonym of “Big Red” has created a fantastic video depicting his emotions.

Comedy is a healing art.

For one New York Islanders superfan, it’s the most effective way of coping with Monday night’s gruesome loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Matt Di Giacomo, a diehard Isles fan, channeled his inner Jim Breuer when he eulogized the team’s playoff chances in a kick— 10 minute video he calls “Rest in Peace 15-16.”

Di Giacomo began creating videos to vent his frustrations and laud his favorite players roughly three weeks ago. That has earned him a handful of subscribers and a couple hundred viewers.

The bulk of his complaints were directed towards the AWOL forward unit, which has tallied a meager 8 goals in their last six contests. On a positive note, though: the Flyers squandered a two goal lead with a minute left and lost in the skills competition on Tuesday night, while the Red Wings got hammered by the Lightning to cut the Isles’ magic number to 17.
