New York Rangers Best Jaromir Jagr, Florida Panthers 4-2 (Highlights)

The New York Rangers earned a much needed victory against the Florida Panthers. Rick Nash was the first star in the 4-2 victory.

The New York Rangers needed a win if they wanted to leave some wiggle room in the Metropolitan Division standings.

The Rangers skated dominated a good portion of the play in the first and second periods, and were up 23-12 on shots.

Viktor Stalberg had a tremendous game, scoring one goal and almost made it two if not for a nice save by Florida Panters’  goalie Al Montoya.

The fourth line had a strong game overall, and the play of Dominic Moore and Viktor Stalberg were the reason why.

Mats Zuccarello then cashed in on the power play to put the Blueshirts up 2-0.

Henrik Lundqvist continues to live up to his nickname.

The Rangers even had luck on their side.

And it was only a matter of time before Rick Nash scored.

The Rangers heard good news following their game, as the New York Islanders lost to the Philadelphia Flyers. That’s good news for the Blueshirt’s playoff picture.

I've been a die hard Rangers and Giants fan for as long as I can remember. I enjoy sharing opinions, and hearing from fans that love their teams just as much as I do. Henrik Lundqvist makes all of us look like mere mortals. E-mail me at: Chris.Wengert@elitesportsny.com
