The New York Rangers earned a much needed victory against the Florida Panthers. Rick Nash was the first star in the 4-2 victory.
The New York Rangers needed a win if they wanted to leave some wiggle room in the Metropolitan Division standings.
The Rangers skated dominated a good portion of the play in the first and second periods, and were up 23-12 on shots.
Viktor Stalberg had a tremendous game, scoring one goal and almost made it two if not for a nice save by Florida Panters’ goalie Al Montoya.
The fourth line had a strong game overall, and the play of Dominic Moore and Viktor Stalberg were the reason why.

The Rangers heard good news following their game, as the New York Islanders lost to the Philadelphia Flyers. That’s good news for the Blueshirt’s playoff picture.
