Despite showing moxy by coming back a few times to tie it, the New York Rangers fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins at MSG on Sunday.

The afternoon, for all the world to see on NBC, the New York Rangers played a Charmin-soft game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
They fell harmlessly in defeat by a final of 5-3 at Madison Square Garden.
The Pens scored first, and the Rangers would react. It happened this way on three different occasions, until, finally, the Pens held off the Rangers in the third period.
Chris Kreider, Derick Brassard and Ryan McDonagh were the goal scorers for the Blueshirts. Henrik Lundqvist stopped only 28 of the 32 shots he faced on the afternoon.
