Both Henrik Lundqvist and Rick Nash make their long awaited returns as the New York Rangers take on the Detroit Red Wings in Hockeytown.

Finally, it has happened for the New York Rangers.

Both starting goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and best goal scorer Rick Nash have returned to the lineup on a day the Blueshirts will be in Hockeytown to take on the Detroit Red Wings in a matinee.

“I just need to go out there and play, relax, trust my instincts,” Lundqvist told the team’s official website. “When you are used to playing a lot, then don’t play for a week, of course you’re going to feel it; but it’s really a mindset, just being comfortable and trusting yourself.”

Puck drops at 2:00 PM ET.
