Who says 3-on-3 OT isn’t exciting? Stepan is denied by Holtby point-blank then Ovechkin does the rest. #NYRvsWSH pic.twitter.com/G1Ty6UF13G

Although they furiously stormed back to take a 3-2 lead in the third period, the New York Rangers were once again doomed by Alexander Ovechkin.
Well, he’s done it again.
Worse yet, he made Rich Nash and Ryan McDonagh his daddies this time.
Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin took the puck from behind his net and went coast-to-coast in embarrassing almost the entire New York Rangers team en route to giving his squad the 4-3 victory in overtime at Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon (video above).
The play came just moments after Derek Stepan had a chance to end it. Instead of celebrating a Ranger victory though, Henrik Lundqivst and company are currently sitting in their locker rooms trying to figure out what the hell happened.
